Brian Powell opened BP's Express Tire & Auto Plus to be the kind of shop he'd want to take his own truck to. No pressure. No padded invoices. No mystery charges at pickup. Just honest work from a guy who's been turning wrenches his whole life.
Brian learned the trade from his dad, Ed Powell — a longtime Iva resident known across Anderson County for his kindness and integrity — working alongside him at the family salvage yard for over 35 years before opening BP's Express Tire in January 2018. Today his oldest son, Brian "LB" Powell, works the shop with him.
A lot of the same folks keep coming back. Some bring their kids' first cars in now. That tells you everything.

We help our neighbors. Locked your keys in the car outside Anderson? Caught a flat on the way home? Call us. Brian has been known to swap a tire for free when somebody's truly stuck — that's just how we were raised to do things in the Upstate.
